Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and manage the sanitation program for the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all sanitation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Train and supervise sanitation staff, fostering a culture of safety, cleanliness, and excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to address any sanitation-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain sanitation SOPs, training materials, and other related documentation.
- Continually assess and improve the sanitation program, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Respond to and manage any sanitation emergencies that may arise, ensuring the safety of all employees and the integrity of our products.
- Coordinate with external agencies and auditors as needed.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of sanitation standards and health and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of training and developing staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Sanitation Management or a related field is a plus.
