CSA Education LLC is looking for Math Curriculum Development Specialist contractors to work on an upcoming project for Middle School Math through Algebra 1.
Math Curriculum Development Specialists are responsible for writing and / or editing student and teacher facing resources, including assessments, for a math content development project.
The Math Curriculum Development Specialist ensures that submitted materials are accurate, consistent, and adhere to client guidelines.
Essential Functions
- Writes, edits, and revises content as needed on assigned projects.
- Creates math content to meet client specifications at the Middle School through Algebra 1 grade levels
- Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with project team members.
- Maintains professionalism, calm approach, and commitment even when under pressure.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge and understanding of standards, student abilities, and appropriate content for Middle School through Algebra 1 math.
- Proven ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging written content.
- Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Knowledge of and general proficiency in current software and file sharing platforms.
- Ability to follow client guidelines and specifications, which may change throughout the course of a project.
- Ability to meet all agreed-upon deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to reference multiple documents and synthesize information.
Education and Experience
- Demonstrated experience developing or teaching Middle School math and / or Algebra 1 content required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field, or related work experience preferred
- Previous educational publishing experience preferred
