Beechnut Animal Hospital is a quickly progressing hospital that is looking for the right person to help us achieve our vision.
We want to be there for the first baby visit, the pesky Houston allergy flare ups, the complex diseases, the heart-stopping accidents, and final snuggles & nose boops for our patients and their pet parents.
As a Veterinary Technician you will play a critical role in helping us accomplish that vision.

Position Skills :
- Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to : hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
- Nursing skills including : restraining patients, administering medications PO / IV / SUBQ / IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
- Proficient in dental prophylaxis and radiology
Position Requirements :
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
