Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasury Your team responsibilities
The Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasury will be a key contributor in MSCI's execution of proactive Investor Relations and strategic capital management programs.
MSCI's Investor Relations team is responsible formunicating the firm's financial performance and strategy to shareholders and prospective investors and to sell-side research analysts who evaluate thepany, while maintaining an effective feedback loop with senior management.
The Vice President will provide analysis, insights and support to help drive our ongoing investor relations programs and coordinate and drive information sharing between Investor Relations and the business units, FP&A, Accounting and Legal and other teams to facilitate investormunications and participate in developing and enhancing our IR programs, analysis and reporting and execution of key investor events such as roadshows, conferences, Investor Days.
Additionally, in support of the strategic capital management of thepany, the individual will support the development, optimization and execution against thepany's capital allocation policies, with a focus on optimizing long-term value creation through optimal leverage, share repurchases, dividends and cash management.

Your key responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for supporting aprehensive investor relations program including :
- Support IR team in quarterly earnings process by collaborating with internal business and accounting teams to gather information, data and support for drafting press release, earnings presentation, call script and Q&A.
- Assist in proactively responding to investor and analyst inquiries and collecting investor feedback to apprise management
- Build and maintain fact book containing record of disclosures made regarding corporate info, history, background, and industrypetitive landscape
- Play critical role in analyzing sell-side consensus versus forecast and operating plans
- Perform research on existing and prospective shareholder base, prepare briefing materials, tearsheets and profiles of investor contacts, collaborating with external shareholder market intelligence vendors.
- Maintain and log shareholder interactions in third party CRM platform.
- Assist with the creation and preparation of presentations for investor events including conferences, roadshows, and 1x1 calls, and for Board of Directors and Annual General Meeting
- Develop and manage calendars and working timelines for earnings and marketing events including non-deal roadshows, conferences, investor day and other events
- Actively monitor and maintain consensus model. Help identify analyst model disconnects and variances versus guidance and long-term targets
- Build and maintain internal financial dashboard containing KPIs and quarterly records
- Partner with FP&A and Controllership to analyze relevant financial information requested by management and IR team using tools including but not limited to Power BI, Qlik and Salesforce
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and research as needed
The individual will be responsible for supporting a the strategic capital management of thepany including :
- Manage leverage, dividend and repurchase policies of the firm to support organic and inorganic growth while optimizing the cost of capital
- Planning and executing financing transactions and credit facilities
- Assisting with the active management of the firm's global cash positions
- Maintaining lending bank and rating agency relationships
Your skills and experience that will help you excel :
- 5-7 years of experience in highly analytical financial roles including investor relations, FP&A, equity research and treasury
- Strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and presentation skills, often in self-directed capacities, while effectively collaborating with other teams (FP&A, Finance Directors, Controllers, Legal, etc)
- Experience managing capital structure and balance sheet strategy
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience working within an international and multicultural environment and operating across multiple time zones
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with attention to detail
- Leadership skills and self-confidence needed to earn credibility with internal and external stakeholders
- Superior written and oralmunication skills
