We are partnering with a reputable client based in the Tri-County area of Charleston, SC, seeking an experienced Estimato r to join their team.

Our client is a well-established construction company specializing in residential projects, known for their commitment to excellence and quality craftsmanship.

Job Description : Our client is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their dynamic team and contribute to their estimating department.

As the Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating quotes, bids, and budgets for new residential projects, with a focus on exterior construction.

This role requires expertise in construction materials and methods, particularly in the context of residential projects ranging from custom homes to production homes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review project blueprints and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
• Analyze project bids and budgets to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Evaluate alternative materials and construction methods to optimize project costs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project details and address any concerns.
• Monitor project budgets and provide updates as needed throughout the estimation process.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience in estimating for construction projects, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong background in construction materials and methods, particularly for exterior residential projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Computer savvy, with proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating.
• Must be able to work in-office; no remote work available.
