Job Summary

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified .NET Software Engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications.

You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality software solutions using SQL Server, C#, SQL, and .Net Framework.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Design code test and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Implement standard processes for software development including code reviews unit testing and continuous integration.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Solve and resolve sophisticated technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications.

Maintain and update existing software applications to enhance functionality and performance.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.

Ensure software solutions are scalable secure and compliant with industry standards.

Collaborate with collaborators to find opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Document software designs technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Supply to the companys purpose by developing software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

Possess strong expertise in SQL Server C# SQL and .Net Framework.

Demonstrate experience in developing high-quality software solutions.

Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated technical issues.

Show proficiency in implementing standard methodologies for software development.

Have experience in Vendor Management

Retail and Item Management (nice to have).

Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
