This position requires a keen understanding of escrow procedures, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the entire escrow process for commercial real estate transactions, ensuring adherence to all regulations and company policies.
- Preparing, reviewing, and interpreting escrow instructions, agreements, and documents.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely closings.
- Conducting comprehensive title searches and resolving any title issues that arise during the transaction process.
- Calculating and preparing closing statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Facilitating the disbursement of funds and distribution of documents according to the terms of the escrow agreement.
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
The right person has
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Escrow Officer or in a similar role within the commercial real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial escrow procedures, title insurance, and real estate transactions.
- Proficiency in escrow software and other relevant technology.
- Experience with multi-state commercial transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to escrow and title processes.
- Notary public certification preferred.
