Our Kresgeville office is looking for full-time Land Surveyor Project Manager to join our exceptional team. The right person will lead surveying projects from inception to completion.
This role requires an experienced surveyor skilled in project management, with a background in fieldwork and knowledge of Pennsylvania's land surveyor laws and regulations.
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the surveying process, coordinate with clients and co-workers, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure high standards of precision and compliance with support from survey department and administration.

Job Description :
- Lead and manage land surveying projects, from proposal through project completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and co-workers to understand project requirements and ensure timelines are met.
- Prepare and review detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
- Supervise field crews, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to industry standards.
- Review and analyze survey data, maps, reports, and other documents for accuracy and compliance with state and local regulations.
- Ensure project quality control and adherence to Pennsylvania land surveying laws.
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Conduct surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
- Operate surveying instruments, including GPS units, total stations, levels, and data collectors.
- Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and drawings using CAD software.
- Collect accurate field data, including measurements, angles, distances and elevations.
- Staking and marking property boundaries, constructions sites and other relevant areas based on survey data.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent minimum.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in land surveying or related filed work with at least two (2) years of experience in a project manager role.
- Ability to operate surveying instruments, including GPS units and levels.
- Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices and construction methods and fundamentals.
- Knowledge and experience of boundary and topographic surveying.
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Microsoft applications.
- Analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to perform precise calculations.
- Ability to interpret and analyze survey data, maps, and record documents.
- Excellent client service.
- General knowledge of Pennsylvania state laws and regulations related to land surveying.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability and willingness to travel to various customer sites in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.
