We are currently seeking a proficient Data Analyst with a deep understanding of the fashion and apparel industry and data science methodologies.

This role will be critical in using data to generate actionable insights that support key strategic decisions. This individual will particularly focus on areas such as marketing performance, customer retention, and generating data-driven guidance for our ecommerce business.

Work Type Hybrid Position - Partial in Office 3 Days / Partial Remote 2 days

POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize data to derive actionable insights in areas such as customer retention and marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Lead ongoing paid media analysis of geo test hold outs. Own timely, recommended action plans of our paid performance test results.
• Improve ecommerce profitability by optimizing advertisement spend.
• Identify ecommerce operational opportunities and perform analysis that aid in cost-saving initiatives to help improve ecommerce profitability in areas such as distribution.
• Oversee and maintain ecommerce channel reporting accuracy, overall site performance metrics and distribution of reports.
• Aid in measurement and reporting of ROI across our ecommerce tech stack.
• Analyze paid performance trends across new vs returning customers that drive action.
• Automate and streamline data analysis workflows to guide ecommerce business strategies.
• Maintain accuracy of Google Analytics to ensure on par with latest best practices and standards.
• Manage end-to-end data analysis tasks, including data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation.
• Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Present analyses in a clear, interpretable and applicable way that can be shared widely, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
• Distribute daily, weekly, monthly ecommerce sales and analytics reporting.
• Lead implementation of new and improved reporting dashboards to deliver actionable insights and improve the workflow of the ecommerce team.
• Partner with Digital Marketing Manager on analytics as needed to support the optimization of paid channels.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in the data science field and the fashion and apparel industry.
• Ad hoc projects and tasks as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Digital marketing, Google Analytics and fashion apparel experience required.
• Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce operations, customer retention strategies and marketing performance metrics required.
• Experience with Measured.com, Elevar & Asana preferred.
• You are results oriented. You can guide a team to focus on the activities that will drive the largest lift to targeted metrics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills & ability to simplify complex data.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with A / B testing or experimental design.
• Experience in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
• Experience with SQL. AWS or Shopify experience is a plus.
• Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker (Data Studio), etc.
• Proficient in data science methodologies including (but not limited to) data collection, statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling.

Machine learning experience a plus.

Data Analyst, Ecommerce

Salary Range $70,000 -$90,000

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Z SUPPLY provides a range of compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements.

To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role / level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, internal parity and other relevant factors.

Flexibility outside of the salary range listed may be considered based on additional skills or qualifications a candidate may possess that may justify additional compensation.

Company paid health benefits, PTO, bonus and other various company perks are not included in the salary range listed above and are considered additional compensation.
