The Role :

The Nue Co. is looking for an accomplished, self-motivated Sales Manager NYC based, reporting into the Commercial Director who is London based.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the management & growth of our US Natural Channel wholesale accounts inc.

Sprouts, Vitamin Shoppe & Erewhon Market. This is a unique opportunity for somebody who is a health & wellness enthusiast with a minimum of 3-4 years pre-existing experience working with US Health & Wellness Retailers.

The ideal candidate will support the Commercial Director by taking on responsibility of your own accounts, ensuring to build relationships with key buyers & retail stakeholders, timely execution of projects and overall seamless customer service.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for Key Accounts P&L, to not just grow revenue but drive profitability and sustainable long-term growth.
  • In partnership with Commercial Director create and execute US market strategic sales plan (National) encompassing all Key Accounts.
  • Build annual tactical promo calendars with partners across Natural Channel and manage submissions / negotiations to secure marketing support and exposure in line with promotional activity.
  • Sell in, sell out and sell through forecasting at account level, monitoring performance & productivity store & online.
  • Developing product assortment strategy per retailer in line with brand strategy, ensuring to support sell through.
  • Work closely in partnership with sales operations in ensuring correct available stock allocations for each retailer but avoiding overstock.
  • Manage both digital and in-store sales tactics in order to scale business within North America.
  • Prepare material for key market meetings & attend, evolving relationships and driving the brand at the forefront of focus.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders inc. Marketing, Operations, Product & Creative in ensuring we are supporting all accounts successfully 360.
  • Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance at regional level with focus on NY, FL & CA.

The Ideal Candidate :

3-4 years minimum experience in a commercial / sales strategy role within the Health & Wellness sector experience is essential.

This is a head office role, head office account management experience is essential.

  • Successful sales & profitability driver.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to build relationships.
  • Effective presentation & negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail is essential.
  • Good time management skills and problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote, experience with Xero is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Leadership ability.
