JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description
We have a client in Round Rock, TX who is opening up a 3rd shift for a variety of positions. The work schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 11PM-6AM and pays $20 / hr.
The roles include :
- Quality Assurance
- Shipping & Receiving
- Assembly
- Carpentry work
- Machine Operation
What you'll do as : Warehouse Associate :
- Inspecting and testing products or processes
- Documenting and analyzing data
- Operate Machines including router and drill press
- Using specialized tools for inspection
- Participating in ISO audits
- Assemble wood products
- Communicating with the Production department
- Review Specifications, standards, and / or test plans of customer designs, and report feedback to the management.
- Give feedback to the Production department regarding any errors or non-conformances in the assembly process verbally or through written documentation.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate should have the following :
- Experience in wood product manufacturing
- Experience in quality inspection
- Knowledge of inspection planning and processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must be willing to work Saturday and Sundays as needed as well as overtime
- Must wear steel toe shoes / boots and other required personal protection equipment. (we provide safety vest and safety glasses.)
- Proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn proprietary software.
- Ability to use measurement instruments and testing tools (i.e., measuring tape, calipers, etc.).
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
