Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care.

Position Description

Reporting to the Chief of Community Services (CCS), the full time, exempt, Program Manager, is a key member of a high performing team and provides organization leadership for the daily delivery of grant funded minimum program requirements through programs and services within the School Based Health Center Program (SBHC).

The Program Manager will be responsible for staff oversight and deliverable outcomes of the SCHOOL BASED HEALTH CENTER PROGRAM (SBHC) sites.

The Program Manager will assist in the financial management, reporting requirements, MDHHS / SBHC / HRSA and other related regulatory requirements and day to day operations of these locations, assuring all minimum program requirements are met, while driving a culture focused on high quality health care and service excellence.

The Program Manager works to create an environment of compassion and innovation promoting Honor’s role in leading efforts for student and family health.

What are we looking for?

  • A bachelor’s degree in health care administration, public health or related health or management field is required.
  • A minimum of three to five years of progressive experience in health care with recent supervisory experience within the healthcare industry is required.
  • Experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing workflow processes, CQI and leveraging stakeholders to implement efficient and effective procedures.
  • Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers is highly desired.
  • Basic computer skills. Organized, excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Previous experience with School Based Health Centers is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of patient populations.
  • Experience with NextGen electronic medical record system or comparable preferred.
  • As needed per discipline
