Are you passionate about delivering intricate concrete structures on time and within budget? Do you have a proven track record of managing complex cast-in-place, precast, and transfer beam projects?
If so, our client would like to hear from you in connection to an iconic casino project in Charlotte, NC.
In this critical role, you'll be a specialist in your field, assisting the construction in the following areas :
This includes :
- Responsible for oversight of precast and transfer beam construction, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, subcontractors, superintendents and wider leadership to ensure project alignment and timely completion.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control plan for precast and transfer beam fabrication and erection.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Maintain clear and concise project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals.
- Adopt a safe and productive work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, (not essential).
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in project management within the concrete construction industry, with expertise in precast, cast-in-place, and transfer beam construction methods being hugely beneficial.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to concrete construction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Will have some proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- A valid driver's license.
