Client Care Coordinator - Internal Medicine
Job Summary : The Client Care Coordinator role serves as the initial go-to and facilitator to extend excellent client care for the emergency department.
Their job is to ensure that our clients are well informed, know what to expect from beginning to end, as well as demonstrate a message of care and competence in their experience with NVS.
They are a communication lifeline between clients and the doctors and medical staff.

WHO ARE WE? NVS is a 24 / 7 veterinary specialty and emergency hospital. We are located in a recently expanded 24,000 square foot hospital with digital radiography, computed tomography (CT), on-site magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, endoscopy, access to an on-site commercial laboratory, and more.

Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Compensation : $18 - $27 depending on experience
Job Responsibilities :
- Answers all client questions / phone calls and informs what to expectReturns calls within 2 hours
- Greets new clients for initial appointments and introduces themselves as the Client Care Coordinator for that team
- Answers client refill online requests or calls, facilitate communication / questions with the doctor about refills
- Call pharmacies (local or online) to check on, approve, refill or discuss prescriptions or refills for clients
- Serves as backup for doctors who are unavailable to take RDVM calls
- Strives to improve Client Experience in all possible ways within job description
- Call clients every morning with a brief update on their pet
- Sends clients a daily photo of their pet
- Facilitates client visits
- Calls clients 2 days after discharge to check on pet (hospitalized patients)
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Client / customer service experience
- Strong desire to compassionately serve clients
- Clear and professional written and communication skills
- Knowledge of some veterinary medical terminology and experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
- Flexibility- available to work shifts during the day, night, weekends, and holidays if needed.
- Adapts to stressful situations with grace under pressure.
- Works well in a team environment
- PC Skills / (ezyVet or similar veterinary platform experience a plus)
