Summary of Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Director Aquaticsresponsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to thefollowing :
- Consistentlyoffer professional friendly and engagingservice
- Welcome guests to the pool facility andensure they have a safe and enjoyableexperience
- Assist in the cleanliness and thedaily upkeep of the pool area
- Guard andsafeguard all guests / members using the poolfacility
- Ensure guests are aware of allservices and activities available at thepool
- Ensure that proper pool testing has takenplace prior to guests using the facility
- Ensureall guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware ofthe rules of the facility
- Provide a high levelof guest satisfaction and safety through effectivecommunication
- Follow departmental policies andprocedures
- Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies
HourlyRate : $22.34 Gross perhour
Qualifications :
- Previousexperience as a Lifeguardpreferred
- Certification in CPR FirstAid required
- Certification as aLifeguard required
- Strong interpersonal andproblem solving abilities
- Highly responsible& reliable
- Ability to work cohesivelyas part of a team
- Ability to focus attention onguest needs remaining calm and courteous at alltimes
PhysicalAspects of Position (include but are not limitedto) :
- Frequent standingand walking throughout shift
- Occasional liftingand carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Frequent kneelingpushing pulling sitting
- Occasional ascending ordescending ladders stairs andramps
