Saint Rose of Lima Parish, in Freehold, NJ, is seeking a full-time Parish . Duties include all standard bookkeeping related functions for the Church, Cemetery and School.
QuickBooks is the software used primarily for all accounting functions.
Payroll responsibilities include both the Church and the School. Payroll is entered using Paylocity.
Cemetery bookkeeping is primarily tracking receipts, entering deeds and communicating with the cemetery management company on bookkeeping related issues.
Recording of all Cemetery-related activities.
Parish Center bookkeeping activity consist of paying utility and other expense invoices as well as entering rental revenue.
The Elementary School is pre-school through 8th grade and includes after-care services.
Tuition coordination with FACTS or SMART program which includes school enrollment and registration details and managing family financial information.
Liaison with the Diocese providing required financial information. Assist families with financial aid information and applications.
Gather and prepare budgeting information in preparation for School Budget Diocesan reporting deadlines throughout the fiscal year which is June 30.
Church, gather and prepare budgeting information in preparation for the annual Church reporting process to the Diocese.
Cash management for all bank accounts, Church, and School.
Maintain financial records of the Parish investment accounts.
Recording of cash deposits and disbursements for all entities.
Acknowledgement letters for charitable donations as requested.
Calendar year end reporting including 1099s and w-2gs.
HR liaison with Diocese for all personnel in coordination with the Pastor, Principal and Business Manager.
Reports to the Business Manager and the Pastor.
Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits in accordance with the Diocese of Trenton policies.
