As a Senior Accountant, you will provide internal accounting services across our organization. Working alongside our CFO, you will be responsible for the general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting.

What you will do :

• Perform general accounting duties for the organization including entering transactions and reconciling general ledger, credit card, and cash accounts.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual Close process.
• Verify and completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Monitor firm’s AR and serve as liaison with individual unit office managers to ensure timely collection
• Prepare and file tax forms, business registrations, and business licensing with state and local government agencies.
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

What we look for :

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years professional accounting experience including transactional work and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong analytical skills.
• Proficient with NetSuite accounting software, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with Bill.com and Divvy expense management software a major plus
• Desire to learn and understand GAAP accounting
• Proactive problem solving and ability to self-manage projects.
