Overview :

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with an ultra-luxury hotel set to open in Los Angeles, seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the strategic sales, marketing, and branding efforts for the property's pre-opening and beyond.

This critical role will be responsible for positioning the hotel as a top luxury destination in the highly competitive Los Angeles market.

The Director will drive revenue generation, create innovative marketing campaigns, and establish relationships with high-end clientele, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Pre-Opening Sales & Marketing Strategy :

Develop and implement a comprehensive pre-opening sales and marketing plan, including brand positioning, market segmentation, and revenue strategies to ensure a successful hotel launch.

Revenue Generation :

Drive room sales, events, food and beverage, and other revenue streams by developing targeted sales initiatives, partnerships, and promotions.

Oversee the hotel's pricing and revenue management strategies.

Brand Development & Positioning :

Create and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring that all marketing materials, digital content, and communication align with the luxury image and values of the hotel.

Collaborate with public relations teams to position the property as a premier destination.

Marketing Campaigns :

Design and execute creative marketing campaigns across various platforms (digital, social media, print, and events) to engage luxury travelers, corporate clients, and key partners.

Track the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Sales Leadership :

Lead and manage the Sales & Marketing team, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Foster a sales-driven culture focused on achieving high levels of guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end clientele, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and luxury consortia.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to network and promote the hotel.

Partnerships & Collaborations :

Establish strategic partnerships with local businesses, luxury brands, and influencers to enhance the hotel's visibility and market presence.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis :

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, target segments, and competitors. Continuously assess the competitive landscape to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Budgeting & Financial Management :

Oversee the Sales & Marketing budget, ensuring that all initiatives are cost-effective and deliver measurable returns on investment.

Prepare reports on sales performance, marketing ROI, and forecasting.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing or a senior-level sales and marketing role within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong understanding of hotel pre-opening processes, including brand positioning, revenue management, and market launch strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, public relations, and event marketing.
  • Track record of developing successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on ROI-driven marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in pre-opening luxury hotel sales and marketing.
  • Familiarity with the Los Angeles luxury hotel market and clientele.
