Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor for a long term role supporting international cybersecurity initiatives for a US Federal agency.
This position requires an active Secret clearance, and ability to be on site in DC 3 days / week.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage engagement and business strategy for cybersecurity critical infrastructure and threat intelligence
- Support mission specific cyber efforts for various reginal levels in Europe / Eurasia
- Liaise with European leadership to review / analyze / recommend updates to cybersecurity assessments
- Interpret and develop cybersecurity policy according to RMF, NIST, FISMA, and international standards such as GDPR, ISO, etc.
- Support full ATO assessments, analyze selected controls, make recommendations and perform gap analysis
- Support both government and civilian areas, particularly energy and infrastructure sectors
- Perform new market analysis and business development for new innovation, leading strategic partnerships across various hubs
Requirements :
- Active SECRET Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of cybersecurity standards including RMF, NIST, FISMA, FIPS, ISO, GDPR, etc.
- Ability to present and translate technical information to non-technical leadership
- Blend of experience in both government and commercial cybersecurity environments
- Expert knowledge of current IT tools and platforms, networks, mobility, cloud solutions, etc.
- Must be on site 3 days a week in Washington, DC
Compensation :
- $160,000-180,000 annual salary *depending on experience
