What We're Looking for :
Warm and welcoming demeanor to greet visitors and employees
Experience in receptionist or switchboard operations preferred
Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Familiarity with Zoom or similar platforms
Quick learner adaptable to new software, particularly PLNU's HRIS software (Workday)
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
Knowledge and experience working with a diverse population is preferred
What You'll Be Doing :
Serve as the friendly face of PLNU, managing incoming calls and visitors with grace and professionalism.
Maintain accurate records and information, updating phone directories and voicemail recordings as needed.
Supervise and train student employees to ensure smooth front desk operations.
Provide administrative support to the HR team, managing invoices, supply orders, and scheduling events.
Uphold confidentiality standards and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications :

Positive friendly disposition and the ability to communicate and exercise important human relations skills with visitors, faculty, staff, and students.
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement withPLNU’s Community Life Covenant.
