LHH Recruitment Solutions, formerly Accounting Principals, is partnering with our client in Sacramento, CA on a payroll specialist role.
This job is in office and you will be part of a payroll team that strives to offer white glove service to their employees.
This collaborative team processes a high volume of timecards while ensuring that payroll deadlines are met weekly.
Primary Duties :
Collecting timecards, calculating and entering hours
Audit timecards, ensure that wage and hour laws are adhered to and discuss adjustments needed with team supervisors.
Update payroll records, enter changes to deductions, benefits and savings deductions.
Prepare tax reports, payroll summaries, pto balance reports and benefits data.
Answer employee questions and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Issue W2’s.
Prepare checks and direct deposits.
Qualifications :
At least 2 years payroll experience
Understanding of CA wage & hour laws
Fast and accurate data entry
Intermediate Excel
Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
