What You Will Do :
Aids in maintaining quality files, manufacturing procedures, data collection, material certifications and calibration. Inspects / audits manufacturing lines for compliance to procedures.
- Documents internal audits according to the audit schedule.
- Reports audit findings and records corrective action request data.
- Assists with corrective action follow-up response.
- Identifies, maintains, and schedules measurement and testing equipment for calibration.
- Maintains related quality management system documents and information systems.
- Maintains Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) related documents, training status, and notifications.
- Conveys a positive attitude toward quality workmanship and safety.
- Provides support and analysis of inventory; conducts studies, diagnoses issues and communicates recommended adjustments to Kanban levels, re-order points, and rare items in stock.
- Communicates within the organization about activity in multiple company areas, including overnight shipment requirements and Kanban ordering amounts in the field.
- Identifies location of needed inventory or materials. Participates in annual inventory.
- Audit mfg. lines for adherence to quality procedures, prints and reports discrepancies to management.
- Periodically inspect incoming, production parts and final assembly for compliance to engineering prints and quality processes.
- Aid in the update / maintenance of electronic and hard copy files of material certification
- Aid in the calibration process by numbering / collection / cleaning of tools; also includes maintenance of electronic and hard copy files.
- Aid in the new employee training of tool / quality procedures and update employee training records.
- Aid in updating mfg. procedures requirements and QA inspection logs.
- Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Knows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
- Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Two-year college or technical degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent education and / or experience.
- Two or more years of relevant experience.
- Must have experience with CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine)
- Knowledge of basic tools i.e. Micrometer, Depth Micrometer, Caliper Dial and Vernier, Telescoping gauges and calibration thereof.
- Basic oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Good math and analytical skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing system capabilities.
Physical Demands :
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
- Work requires the use of both hands and fingers, the ability to see and hear and long periods of sitting and standing.
