Seeking experienced accounts receivable specialist responsible for working open accounts receivables greater than 30 days old.
Investigates insurance denials and files a written appeal when warranted. Communicates with payors including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, workers compensation, managed care and other third party entities for resolution.
Candidate must have minimum of 3 years experience with Medicare billing, collections and credit balance resolution. Extensive CPT, ICD-9 and edits knowledge.
