We are seeking dedicated an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The ADON will directly assist our DON in reshaping the team, and staffing structures and help spearhead the overall change management.
This will involve supervising clinical initiatives, monitoring metrics, and above all impacting patient satisfaction. In addition, you will be responsible for mentorship and development of nurse talent and increasing employee morale in the nursing department.
This individual needs to be able to stay organized and exhibit strong leadership and a pioneering spirit to deal with the day-to-day challenges of working for a long-term care nursing home.

ADONs must have the following :
- Licensed as an RN in the state of IL
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility
- Previous nurse supervisor experience
- Expertise in staff education and change management
As a skilled, compassionate ADON, you will :
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with company policy and all appropriate regulations.
- Participate in facility surveys / inspections from regulatory agencies as requested by the administrator or director of nursing.
- Work with the QA Nurse to aid in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility quality assurance program for the nursing department.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and periodically updating resident written discharge plans.
- Performance of administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary throughout the day.
