Each Production Broker is a vital member of our production teams, providing :
- Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies
- Develop problem solving strategies for helping retail agents with their coverage needs
- Provides coverage and program design advice and expertise
- Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
- Negotiates with carriers for the best program for clients
- Oversees preparation of draft proposals terms and conditions
- Oversees preparation and finalization of Carrier and Client coverage confirmations
- Maintains strong relationships with key carriers in the Strategic Market
- Monitors carrier performance regarding service and commission level
We are looking for people with :
- A broad knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to field / area of work, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of job related experience in Commercial Property
- The ability to interact and develop relationships at all levels both internally and externally
- Proficient computer knowledge including, but not limited to, all aspects of Microsoft Office
- Effective sales, negotiating, team building skills
