WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :
As a Presale Engineer, you are responsible for identifying new features, products, and business opportunities while being a critical driver of sales initiatives.
Our team collaborates with clients to understand their challenges and solutions. You will work to become a trusted advisor for our clients, enabling you to build confidence in TP-Link’s technology infrastructure.
WHAT YOUR FUTURE LOOKS LIKE :
- Knowledge base on networking
- Understanding business scenarios of hospitality, restaurant, or health care
- Verification of whether products will work for customers
- Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients
- Liaising with those developing products / services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers and to let them in on user behavior and / or any potential changes clients would like
- Helping the sales team to reach targets
- Conducting research into the industry including competitor research
- Potentially considering new markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products / services and their users.
- Experience working in highly collaborative environments
- Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Engineering or related field
- Background in Networking; Certifications related to networking can be advantageous.
- Based in Southern California, able to work in Irvine office.
- Travel to the client's location to propose solutions or conduct training when needed.
- Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical details to a non-technical audience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM / Salesforce experience preferred.
Benefits
Salary : $80K - 150K DOE
