About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1674 To $1859 Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Observation Unit Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience License : Valid compact or state license required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have : - Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field- Experience with patient age groups ranging from Pediatrics to Geriatrics Job Description : Manage staffing ratios of 1 : 4- Proficient in Telemetry & Dysrhythmia Management, PCU / Stepdown Care- Implement and monitor IV Insulin & Heparin Protocols- Manage Renal Failure Cases- Administer Cardiac & Vasoactive Drips including titration- Handle Blood Product Administration- Perform Tracheostomy Management- Utilize Rapid Response Team effectively- Conduct Wound Care / Wound Vac- Execute Non-Invasive Airway Management (such as CPAP / BIPAP, Oxygen)- Document using EPIC system- Must have a flu vaccine unless a medical exemption is provided- Complete fingerprinting promptly upon contract acceptance- Travelers from outside Ohio must comply with fingerprinting instructions provided by the Credentialing team- Time-off requests must be included in the submission and built into the contract- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are subject to the same rateApplicants should ensure compliance with travel and credentialing requirements without delay.
Orientation includes a 24-hour program.
