Supervises : One to three accountingclerks
GeneralPurpose : Supervise and coordinate the AccountingOperations in the hotel to ensure accurate timely and consistentreporting in accordance with policies and procedures as well asapplicable laws and regulations.
Maintain control overincome expenses and the hotels assets andliabilities.
SpecificResponsibilities
Supervisethe Payroll Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cashier and NightAudit functions; interview recommend hiring train develop empowerschedule coach and counsel;
recommend and conduct performance andsalary reviews; resolve problems; provide open communications andrecommend discipline and termination asappropriate.
Supervisethe daily accounting operations ensuring compliance with the SOPsand applicable laws andregulations.
Analyzeand reconcile all general ledger accounts and bank statements toensure accurate financial information isavailable.
Pleaseprepare financial statements and reports to ensure accurate timelyinformation is available formanagement.
Assistin compiling and preparing the annual budget forecasts taxes andother financial reports to provide support and ensure accuratetimely information is available for management andowners.
Trainmonitor and coordinate the implementation and maintenance offinancial and cash controls and information flow throughout theother departments in the hotel to ensure compliance and accuraterecords and minimize liabilities losses andexpenses.
Resolveproblems and maintain the accounting systems and equipment toensure smoothoperations.
Analyzeand be familiar with tenants leases and rent reports and ensurehotel is in compliance with hotel leases and managementcontracts.
Performspecial projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees asrequested.
