The IT Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT & computer systems, supporting our teams across our three office locations (NYC, Germany, & Czech Republic), as well as remote global employees.
You'll lead a small team responsible for supporting global end users, managing our network, & maintaining critical enterprise applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, & Zoom.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this hands-on role involves managing IT staff, developing & implementing IT policies & procedures, & collaborating with other departments to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise & lead the IT Team, including hiring, training, & performance evaluations.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, & administration of all IT systems, including networks, servers, databases, & software applications.
- Maintain network security & ensure data privacy & security standards, working closely with our Information Security Team.
- Develop & implement IT strategies aligned with company goals.
- Provide comprehensive IT support, including provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, & maintenance of hardware & software.
- Ensure the availability & reliability of IT systems through proactive monitoring & maintenance.
- Manage desktop support globally, assigning work, setting priorities, & identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Oversee vendor relationships & negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with senior management to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Identify & recommend new technologies to improve business processes.
- Ensure employees have necessary technology tools (e.g., laptops, software).
- Implement & manage data storage solutions, including cloud storage.
- Monitor & maintain hardware & software systems, including servers, networks, & databases.
- Ensure IT project completion on time & within budget.
- Document & maintain internal processes & procedures SOPs
- Ensure adherence to IT best practices & support compliance audits.
- Manage critical apps & communication systems, including email, instant messaging, & video conferencing.
- Provide user training & support.
- Be on call to manage critical issues outside normal work hours.
- Coordinate the purchase, installation, & maintenance of desktop equipment, printers, & mobile devices while also maintaining inventory of assets.
- Develop & manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Provide technical support & guidance to IT staff & end-users.
- Appropriately Handle sensitive & privileged company information.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience supporting hardware & software in an enterprise environment.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, & best practices.
- Advanced experience with network administration, cybersecurity, & data management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, & communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, & decision-making skills.
- Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management, & prioritization.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, & service orientation.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Availability for on-call support during critical incidents or emergencies.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other company sites or for professional development.
This is a full-time, in-office role (4 days a week in the office, work from anywhere 1 day a week) based at our corporate offices in New York City.
Compensation : Conductor maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
The NYC base salary range for this role is currently $80,000- 115,000. Actual base salary offered may vary within this range based on education, knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, internal equity, & geographic location, among other factors.
The actual compensation, if offered a position, will be based on these factors.
Variable compensation : In addition to the base salary, this role is also eligible for an annual Corporate Bonus of 10% tied to company & individual performance.
