Job Description
Pay Range : $ to $ per hour.
- Help initiate preventive maintenance (PM) work orders, stock and non stock orders and follow up
- Expedite orders
- Follow-up on overdue orders (local and in state vendors)
- Distribute PO changes, updates and deletions
- Pick up items for Maintenance from local vendors
- Monitor overdue PM’s, stock-out and zero balance listings
- Follow up on Items that were ordered
- Process kitting for non-stock items that were ordered and received
- Batches daily reports
- Follow up on overdue stock status
- WE101 reports
- Reviews material requests (MRP) report and takes appropriate action
- Process new stock requests and changes
- Maintain established inventory levels
- Update catalog data from the SAP system
- Product reports
- Coordinate parts substitution
- Create stock location (as needed)
- Mark inventory items per guidelines
- Identify and track obsolete and duplicate stock
- Prepare documentation for disposal
- Track disposal process
- Accomplish yearly record retention
- Perform weekly cycle counts
- Accomplish annual inventory
- Assist maintenance in :
- Emergency orders
- Locating suitable substitute parts
- Help in ordering stock items for special projects
- Resolve questions about maintenance work orders
- Maintain files.
- Vendor receipts, new stock requests (numeric), deleted and items to be deleted, periodic and reports, PM work order numeric by date / machine asset number
- Special Projects as related to the department needs
Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent / some college is preferable
- Maintenance inventory and warehousing experience desirable
- Must have good math skills
- Must be computer literate in the Windows environment (Excel & Word)
- SAP or similar program experience helpful
- Must be able to operate a forklift and must be able to obtain a Foster Farms Powered Lift Truck License
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs frequently
- Must be able to squat, bend and lift
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
