Overview :
Chick-fil-A Back-ofHouse Operations Managers are the day-to-day leaders of our Back-of-House operations, cooking up hospitality.
At Chick-fil-A Rivers Avenue, the Back-of-House Operations Manager role is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to serve guests and grow a career.

How You’ll Make a Difference :
- Act as Leader on Duty (LOD)
- Become proficient in all Back-of-House positions
- Execute hospitality by cooking, preparing, and presenting food orders to meet Chick-fil-A’s quality standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of recipes and other cooking requirements
- Contribute to a safe and overall positive environment by maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift in all food preparations areas
- Handle all food-related storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards that comply with all federal, state, & local regulatory procedures
- Ability and willingness to coach and develop Team Leads, Trainers, and Team Members
- Take ownership of a piece of BOH operations and serve as the go-to person for questions and ideas for improvements
- Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospital experience for our guests
- Attend all Operations Manager meetings
- Other duties as assigned by senior leadership
What We’re Looking For :
- Ability to lead a small team
- ServSafe Certification is a plus
- Ability to work 5 days per week
- Available most Saturdays and available to close at least 1 night per week
- Available at least 40 hour per week
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat as needed
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift / carry up to 50lbs

Must Speak English (Fluent)
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
- Mobility required during shifts
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be available for Morning shifts or Night shifts
- Kitchen Leadership Experience required.
