Duty Description Duties of the Incumbent :
1. Perform a variety of high-level analytical and representational duties to facilitate the accomplishment of the Intelligence Enterprise Program Office's (IEP) mission.
2. Engage with DHS components and stakeholders in community development and integration of programs that are within the jurisdiction of the Chief Intelligence Officer (CINT).
3. Support and often taking the lead on complex intelligence activities by coordinating and administering a diverse range of homeland security and information coordination operations, policies, and issues related to all homeland security intelligence mission areas.
4. Help to better understand DHS and DHS customers' missions, capabilities, and the operational and intelligence data streams or to promote the integration and collaboration of activities across DHS component elements and I&A in support and development of better programs and products that support their missions.
5. Assist with development of new policies, operating guidelines, approaches, and processes for approval by senior management to support mission-related intelligence development and utilization across the Department and between the Department and external partners.
6. Prepare reports addressing the multiple factors including evaluation and interpretation of findings incorporating emerging policy initiatives, strategic planning targets, and identification of actual and potential problems.
7. Organize, coordinate, schedule and document meeting minutes of the Homeland Security Intelligence Council (HSIC), the Counter Threat Advisory Board (CTAB).

Minimum Qualifications Required 1. Knowledge of the principles of intelligence operations and procedures in order to gather, analyze and evaluate intelligence information.
2. Ability to plan and formulate policies, procedures and strategies to provide outreach, advisory services and training on intelligence and information coordination operations.
3. Ability to coordinate and synchronize intelligence operations and activities between intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of management and employees to provide advice on procedures, practices and policies.
Conditions This is a 12-month reimbursable Joint Duty Assignment (JDA) position with an option to extend up to 24 months by mutual agreement between gaining and employing elements.
No Permanent Change of Station (PCS) cost available, but this position is covered by the metro check program. Service at more than one element of the IC is highly valued.
This position provides for lateral placement and is not an opportunity for promotion through this program. You must obtain permission by written endorsement from your employing IC element before you apply to this position.
