Blackstone Private Equity Strategies ( BXPE ) is Blackstone’s flagship private equity offering for individual investors.
BXPE is a perpetual fund which invests in diversified global private equity opportunities alongside Blackstone’s private equity platform.
The team invests across 15+ PE strategies spanning industries, geographies and investment structures, representing the breadth of Blackstone’s equity investing capabilities.
Job Description :
Blackstone’s Private Equity Strategies group offers Associates the chance to engage in the acquisition of companies across a variety of sectors and transaction structures.
The investment process develops both the financial analysis of investment banking and the strategic thinking of management consulting.
As result, the Associates are given a unique experience, enabling the development of a well-rounded and comprehensive skill set in business.
Associates at Blackstone can participate in all aspects of a given project and be staffed on a number of assignments at once.
Associates can assume integral roles on deal teams and are involved with the diligence, evaluation, structuring, and financing of transactions and regularly attend internal meetings, management sessions, and negotiations.
Responsibilities :
- Investment research
- Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
- Industry and competitive analysis
- Business diligence
- Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
- Assistance in the execution and financing of transactions
Qualifications :
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are dynamic and intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
The successful candidate should have :
- 2 + years of experience in investment banking, Private Equity Middle Markets, or management consulting experience
- A demonstrated ability to write effectively
- A desire to work in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity
- Sound judgment

Expected annual base salary range :
$140,000 - $140,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
