The HR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating a variety of administrative tasks in support the HR Managers. This position will assist both hourly and salaried associates with HR related matters, focused on documentation, and HRIS system administration.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in data analysis, customer service and a strong problem-solver who is skilled in resolving people issues and committed to creating a culture of engagement.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be

  • Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for several locations
  • Process employee status changes (department, job title, personal information, benefits, terminations)
  • Generates and executes basic reports or queries and provides summaries of data
  • Benefits administration to include monthly benefits meetings, enrollment, research claims issues
  • Assists in the preparation of end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
  • Participates in Committee and Management meetings, and assists with preparation of documents and records
  • Serves as the liaison between employee and payroll
  • May assist in the recruitment process to include interview schedule, pre-employment screening, and on-boarding, primarily for hourly associates
  • Assist in coordinating Open Enrollment benefits activities for associates

Your Education Should Be

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • aPHR or PHR certification is desired

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require

  • Office Environment
  • Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other
  • Computer and screen work more than 90% of the time
  • Manufacturing Plant required PPE when necessary

Your Professional Experience Should Be

  • 3-5 years of experience in documentation, benefit administration, payroll and HRIS
  • Analytical thinker with strong multitasking ability.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to handle and successfully complete multiple priorities, work well under pressure
  • Decision-making ability, commitment to high standards and strong commitment to team approach
  • Customer service skill are paramount to success
  • Ability to handle extremely confidential information with a high degree of professionalism
