Job Title : HR Coordinator

Company : LHH Recruitment Solutions (in partnership with a Landscaping Company)

Location : Houston, TX 77045 (100% ONSITE)

Duration : Contract to Hire

Pay : $24 / hr - $28 / hr

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

About Us : LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a small landscaping company in Houston, TX. We are seeking a skilled HR Coordinator to join their team.

Job Description : As an HR Coordinator, you will be instrumental in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

Responsibilities :

Assist and coordinate the full cycle of recruitment efforts, from job posting to candidate selection.

Support new hire orientation, onboarding efforts, and employee termination processes.

Assist with payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal responsibilities.

Monitor employee morale and company culture, identifying areas for improvement.

Identify future staffing needs and assist in workforce planning initiatives.

Process complaints regarding workplace harassment and assist in investigations and disciplinary actions.

Maintain employee personnel records and conduct exit interviews when necessary.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related field.

2+ years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a similar industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.

Demonstrated knowledge of HR principles and practices, including state and federal employment regulations.

Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance standards.

Proficiency in HRMS / HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant advantage.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
