UX Designer Microsoft Dynamics 365

Job Description

Location : 95% remote, with occasional onsite work at 1 North Old State Capital Plaza, Springfield, IL, as needed. Expectation is for a few days per month, depending on project demands.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a UX Designer Microsoft Dynamics 365 to join our team as part of the Product Management Transformation project.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing user-centered interfaces and ensuring that the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform delivers a seamless and intuitive experience for end users.

You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to create high-quality designs that align with both user needs and business goals.

As a UX Designer, you will create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces while ensuring that the design is functional, accessible, and visually appealing.

You will also gather feedback from users and use data-driven insights to inform design decisions, focusing on enhancing the overall user experience of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) platform.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for new features and enhancements, ensuring that all design elements align with user needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into functional design solutions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to refine designs and ensure that the platform is intuitive and easy to use.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately and that the user interface meets quality standards.
• Ensure that designs follow best practices for usability, accessibility, and performance, keeping in mind compliance with standards such as WCAG.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools, continuously improving the user interface and overall user experience of Dynamics 365 CE.
• Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and obtaining feedback for further improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of experience in UX / UI design, with a focus on enterprise platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE or similar CRM systems.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Experience conducting user research, creating personas, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for ensuring an inclusive user experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working in Agile development environments, using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira for task management and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and how it integrates with Dynamics 365.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development to effectively collaborate with developers.
• Certifications in UX / UI design or human-centered design principles.
