Work with different groups within the People and Culture Team to understand their business challenges, develop data requirements, conduct in-depth analysis, and build a solid foundation of reporting.
Become a go-to-person for your groups to understand their quantitative and qualitative data and to procure the most relevant insights.
Extract data from various systems related to Human Resources, but primarily using Workday.
Use Alteryx and Excel to identify, combine, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in often messy and noisy data sets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven solutions, including best practices in data collection.
Identify data integrity issues and implement improvements to ensure accuracy of findings.
Create custom reports and interactive dashboards using data visualization tools to demonstrate findings and results.
Continuously assess reporting efficiency and effectiveness and areas of improvement.
Be curious and independently explore data for new ways to solve problems.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
And some stretch goals :
Increase the technical knowledge of our People and Culture Team through videos, trainings, and written guides.
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Regularly present results of analysis to senior management across a wide range of functions.
Get Alteryx Core Certified.
Basic requirements :
A passion for People Analytics : a data enthusiast, who will help the People and Culture team try to answer larger workforce questions.
A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years professional experience
1+ years of experience extracting and synthesizing data from diverse sources (including spreadsheets!), developing reports and visualizations for presentations.
Experience with cleaning, organizing and preparing data for analysis including extracting, transforming and loading data into and out of enterprise level data warehouses (e.
g. Snowflake) using SQL / Python.

Known as a pro-active, resourceful individual who takes initiative with little direction and successfully contributes to a team environment.
Clear, concise and audience focused communication skills both written and verbal.
What will make you a superstar in this role :
Has a broad foundation in advanced HR / People and Culture disciplines and in-depth knowledge of HR / People and Culture programs.
Has functioned at the center of all HR / people data activities involving Talent, Benefits, and Compensation. Partnered effectively with IT, Payroll, DEI, and Finance partners.
Knowledge, understanding, and application of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis or data modeling or data mining.
Experience with Tableau or similar Business Intelligence tool, Snowflake, and / or Workday reporting
Demonstrated experience communicating / presenting complex and independent concepts and unbiased fact-based decision-making, business performance and statistical model results.
Compensation :
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $126,700.
In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
