THIS ROLE REQUIRES 4 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE IN IRVINE, CA (remote day must be Tues, Wed, or Thurs).
KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Project Manager : BA + PM, PMP, Business projects / business lead projects / tech projects;
CSM / Scrum Master skills a plus
Responsibilities
- Directs large complex IT and Business projects, inclusive of multiple projects within a Program and / or Tracks within a Project.
- Leverage knowledge in all phases of project and consults for other projects and / or programs, including gathering business requirements.
- Responsible for creating, coordinating, and developing project charters, business cases, technical and architecture specifications, and project plans for identified projects.
- Effectively manages all project constraints; budgets, resources, schedules, and quality, in order to fulfill deliverables and implement effective business solutions.
- Responsible for completeness of all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle and for obtaining appropriate approvals at each phase of the project.
- Manages project progress by establishing and conducting regularly scheduled meetings with the project workgroup.
- Identify, resolve, and manage all project issues, risks, and constraints; budgets, resources, schedules, and quality, in order to fulfill deliverables and implement effective business solutions.
- Responsible for preparing and presenting Executive Level Program / Project Reports.
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must build collaborative and productive relationships.
- Perform business analysis, as needed.
Requirements
- PMP Certification required.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification, preferred.
- Managed healthcare, dental, or retail industry experience preferred.
- 7+ years dedicated project management experience that includes :
- Skill in gathering / documenting business requirements (Business Analyst task)
- Strength in creating, coordinating, and developing project charters, business cases, technical and architecture specifications, and project plans for identified projects.
- Skill at identifying, resolving, and managing all project issues, risks, and constraints; budgets, resources, schedules, and quality, in order to fulfill deliverables and implement effective business solutions.
- Skill in preparing and presenting Executive Level Program / Project Reports.
- Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
- Knowledge of Smartsheet, preferred.
- Familiarity with software development tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Project delivery experience desired includes (as many as possible) :
- Program Development
- Process Improvement
- Business project delivery (not tech) skills required
- Business Lead Solutions implementation - this includes business lead tech projects like the implementation of financial planning systems (required)
- Software Development / Agile / Scrum projects :
- Website refresh that includes Agile / Scrum project delivery
- Other software development Policy Management Systems Implementation
- New Incentive Compensation Systems Deployment - Anaplan
- Security :
- IT Security Applications implementation
- Infrastructure / IT Service projects such as :
- Deploying solutions to support IT Services
- Windows upgrades
- Server upgrades
- Data Center migration
- Deploying new hardware
- Migration from 4G to 5G
- Data Initiatives (DW / BI)
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $50-75 / hr w / a target salary to convert at $100-150K plus bonus.
