In addition, Yondr supports top artists in music and comedy by creating phone-free shows, allowing performers and audience members to enjoy live performances without the distraction of phones.

The Logistics Manager (Outbound and 3PL Management) is responsible for overseeing

logistics operations while working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for

warehousing and distribution services. This role ensures the efficient movement of

goods from suppliers through 3PL-managed warehouses to customers, while managing

relationships with 3PL partners, optimizing costs, and maintaining high service levels.

Reporting into the Director of Supply Chain, this role will closely collaborate with internal teams and external logistics providers to meet company objectives and customer needs.

What you'll do :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the company’s third-party logistics providers, ensuring all contractual agreements and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Regularly review the performance of 3PL providers, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead times, and on- time delivery rates.
  • Negotiate and manage logistics contracts with 3PL providers to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient service.
  • Address and resolve any service-related issues or challenges with 3PL providers, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Oversee outbound logistics operations in collaboration with the 3PL provider, ensuring timely receipt of goods and dispatch of orders to customers.
  • Work closely with the 3PL provider to manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities with 3PL to optimize routes, reduce costs, and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations, including customs clearance when applicable.
  • Conduct regular reviews / audits of inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies with the 3PL.
  • Monitor the efficiency of warehouse processes managed by the 3PL, recommending improvements for better inventory control and cost optimization.
  • Analyze logistics costs and work with 3PL providers to identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing service quality.
  • Monitor freight and shipping costs, and negotiate favorable rates with logistics partners to reduce overall logistics expenses.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics costs, trends, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as Procurement, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure that logistics activities align with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to address delivery issues, customer inquiries, and ensure the timely resolution of logistics-related complaints.
  • Support the Sales and Operations teams with logistics planning during peak seasons or promotional events, ensuring adequate stock and efficient distribution.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes in partnership with 3PL providers to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on key logistics metrics, including delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and cost trends.
  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement in logistics operations, leveraging data insights and industry best practices.

What you'll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on working with third-party logistics providers
  • Strong understanding of logistics and distribution processes, particularly in a 3PL environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence external partners
  • Proficiency in ERP softwares
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize logistics processes
  • Experience in managing both domestic and international logistics for events and shows

Job Location

Los Angeles, CA Hybrid role with a minimum of two in-office days per week.

Compensation

$70-95K based on experience.
