Primary Purpose :

Integrated into client team ensure the flawless execution of capital projects as designed by others including

engineering services and client selected equipment providers.

Responsibilities :

Experience in Chemical Processes and / or packaging Projects

Assist to client for finalizing contractor selections.

Guide team from constructability issue during design phase.

Monitoring project with respect to budgeted cost, and schedule, to ensure timeliness.

Coordinate meeting with contractor for review of progress and site issues.

Attending meeting with client for discussing progress of project.

Check & certify contractor invoices.

Keeping record of materials used on site manage as required including change management.

Implement, monitor, lead Environmental Health and Safety plan.

Implementation of Construction Quality System through Quality team & ensuring the compliance.

Take necessary steps (Catch up plan) to meet the critical path management.

Conduct regular site review meetings with Contractor’s and team.

Coordinate Project Manager and others for design related queries.

Update all the stake holders regarding site status through regular progress updates.

Follow escalation mechanism to address any critical issues.

Perform Active Change Management towards the client or contractors.

Managing changes needed to deliver product at desired quality and throughput.

Vendor Management and Punch list management

Actively maintain a continuous improvement mindset, suggesting and driving improvements related to

efficiency, production, automation and / or equipment design, and downtime elimination

Actively interact with all levels of the team ensuring a smooth transition from construction through to full scale

operations.

Provide support to selected site.

Education, Experience, Qualities and Skills Required :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field

15+ years’ experience is required.

Good communication and management skills

Work in organized and structured manner

Self-management skills are essential.
