P / T Medical Receptionist
We are a specialized, patient-focused medical practice in Lithonia, GA , focusing on Cosmetic Medicine (aesthetics, injectables, lasers) and Integrative Medicine (hormone balance, IV therapy, wellness). We are looking for a highly professional and detail-oriented individual to manage our front office operations and provide backup clinical support.

The Role : Part-Time Medical Receptionist / Assistant
This is a part-time position primarily focused on front office operations, with the requirement to assist with light clinical duties as needed. The ideal candidate is polished, articulate, and has prior clinical experience to seamlessly cover both administrative and basic back office tasks.
Schedule : Minimum of 20 hours per week , with flexible scheduling between Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM .
Key Responsibilities :
Front Office / Receptionist Duties (Primary Focus) :
- Serve as the first point of contact, providing a warm, professional welcome to all patients and visitors.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, handle patient inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
- Perform accurate appointment scheduling , confirmation calls, and calendar management for the physician(s).
- Verify patient insurance eligibility for medical services and process payments for both medical and cosmetic procedures.
- Maintain and manage patient records with strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
- Manage office correspondence, inventory of office supplies, and product / supplement sales.
Back Office / Clinical Support (As Needed) :
Assist the Medical Assistant or Physician with basic clinical tasks during high-volume times or staff absences.Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, etc.) and prepare exam / treatment rooms.Assist with phlebotomy (blood draws) and basic specimen processing as necessary.Maintain clean, stocked, and sanitized treatment rooms.Qualifications
Required :
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a medical front office or administrative role.Prior Medical Assistant (MA) training or certification (CMA / RMA preferred) is required due to the occasional need for clinical assistance.Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures (vitals, phlebotomy).High level of comfort with technology, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.Exceptional communication skills, professional demeanor, and a polished appearance suitable for a cosmetic / aesthetic practice.Desired Skills :
Experience in Dermatology, Aesthetics, or Integrative Medicine .Familiarity with scheduling software and basic medical billing / coding.Compensation & Application
