Description
Responsible for inspecting inventory materials during receiving, storage, and distribution to ensure correct handling and storage practices are followed. Verifies inventory counts and documentation, identifies and documents discrepancies or quality issues, and maintains accurate inspection records. Works with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory variances and enforce best practices in material handling and storage. Performs daily cycle counts.
Position runs through January 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular checks to confirm that inventory parts match their assigned bins and labels.
- Maintain accurate records of parts, counts, and locations in the system.
- Identify and report errors, missing items, or storage issues promptly.
- Support the inventory team with cycle counts and other routine tasks as needed.
- Assist with organization and optimization of inventory storage areas.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines while handling parts.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable performing repetitive tasks without losing accuracy or focus.High level of reliability and consistency in completing tasksBasic computer and data entry skills; familiarity with inventory systems is a plus.Excellent communication skills to report issues clearly and promptlyAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Physical requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25lb as needed.
