Food Plant Manager
We are seeking an experienced Food Plant Manager to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring production objectives are met efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining exceptional quality standards and meeting customer delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct and coordinate plant operations to achieve production goals at minimal cost, aligning with quality standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to harmonize purchasing, production, and shipping activities.
- Oversee operation budgets, streamline inter-department workflows, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvements in employee relations.
- Plan, organize, and manage manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure optimal asset return.
- Implement strategies and processes to minimize manufacturing costs through efficient resource utilization.
- Coordinate manufacturing concerns across departments including production, scheduling, materials control, quality assurance, human resources, and accounting.
- Establish accountability for problem-solving and cost reduction within departments.
- Ensure effective daily production scheduling meetings to resolve current manufacturing issues.
- Assist in recommendations regarding quality, functionality, performance, raw materials, packaging, and formulations.
- Manage spending according to budget and production volume changes.
- Address employee grievances promptly and foster a positive work environment with opportunities for constructive feedback.
- Continuously update personal skills with the latest production management concepts and improve safety and housekeeping standards.
- Make effective decisions swiftly, even with limited data, and develop innovative strategies and plans.
- Adapt to new information and changing conditions, fostering a shared vision and acting as a catalyst for change.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of seven years of progressive manufacturing experience in the food industry.Exceptional leadership and personnel management skills.Strong management skills in manufacturing operations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in financial analysis and cost control.Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.This opportunity offers significant visibility within the corporate structure and the potential to play a key role in the firm's growth.
