Entry Staff Accountant

Location : Gardena / Torrance, CA

Schedule :  On-site Monday - Thursdays and Fridays WFH

Pay Rate : $28.00.00 per hour and up

Employment Type : Temp to Hire

Position Overview :

This role is perfect for someone with solid accounting experience who wants to contribute to a dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for handling month-end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting audit preparation. This position offers a hybrid work schedule to help balance productivity and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare daily sales reports and weekly cash projection reports

Manage month-end journal entries and prepare supporting worksheets

Compile monthly financial packages with variance analysis

Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

Review and file sales tax returns

Renew business and operating licenses on schedule

Process customer refunds via ERP system

Assist with year-end audit preparation

Support special projects and financial research

Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications :

Strong Understanding of Debits and Credits.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 1 year of corporate accounting and general ledger experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with ERP systems
