Job Title : Senior Payroll Specialist Consultant

Location : Columbus, OH (on-site)

Contract Duration : 3-6+ months, with potential for extension

Job Overview

This Senior Payroll Specialist role combines payroll processing expertise with project contributions, supporting a global digital transformation effort to consolidate six payroll / HRIS systems into SAP SuccessFactors. The position requires a skilled professional with hands-on payroll experience, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex, high-volume payrolls.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing (75%)

• Process payroll for 500+ multi-state employees, including union and non-union environments.
• Perform manual payroll calculations for gross-to-net, deductions, and tax compliance.
• Audit payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle garnishments, court orders, tax jurisdiction setups, and year-end W2 processing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
