Hearts & Halos In-Home Euthanasia practice is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team .
Candidates must be compassionate, respectful, detail-oriented and comfortable working and handling aquamation equipment and deceased pets. The aquamation assistant is responsible for all aspects of the aftercare process, including, but not limited to : operating & maintaining the equipment, driving to and from hospitals and aftercare facility, cleaning the crematorium, following safety protocols, planning and executing aquamation operations and ensuring all company standard practices and procedures are followed.
Pay Range : $18.00 / hr
Schedule : Sunday - Thursday, 4 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 AM
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Maintain and operate all aspects of the crematorium, including cleaning
- Thorough record keeping for a smooth aftercare process from beginning to end
- Driving to and from hospitals and aftercare facility
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills :
Driving is required for this position, candidate must have a valid drivers license and a good driving recordSelf-motivated with excellent time managementDetail-oriented - focus on completing assigned tasks in a competent and thorough mannerAll documentation / paperwork must be accurate, organized and legibleRequired high level of integrity, ethics and compassion for care of deceased petsMust be familiar with basic technological equipmentAbility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededMust be a team player with strong verbal, written, and communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to lift approximately 100lbs+, and be able to bend, twist as needed throughout shiftMust adhere to all company policies, procedures, and established safety guidelinesDesired Experience :
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to understand written and spoken English; Bilingual is a plusExperience in the death care industry a plus, but not requiredBenefits :
