Yorktel is currently seeking a Facilities and Contract Coordinator who performs, plans, coordinates, and controls all facility maintenance, safety, and security to ensure proper safety, sanitation, and mechanical functions for all facilities, including grounds and equipment within Yorktel. In addition, this position is responsible for the timely completion of requests for certificates of insurance that may be required by Yorktel personnel.
This position reports directly to the SVP of Purchasing and Logistics. The SVP of Purchasing and Logistics will provide direction and support for day-to-day instruction. This position will work directly with multiple teams and departments to ensure accurate and timely resolution for internal and external customers.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Perform, plan, coordinate, and control all facility maintenance, safety, and security to ensure proper safety, sanitation, and mechanical functions for all Yorktel facilities, including grounds and equipment.
- Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain all Yorktel facilities and grounds.
- Collaborate with senior managers and executives on budgeting for facility needs as requested.
- Create reports related to maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences as requested by senior management.
- Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
- Establish and maintain a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
- Assess and hire contractors or subcontractors to perform maintenance.
- Ensure all permits and licenses are maintained.
- Perform routine inspections of all systems and equipment, complete routine repair work and other general maintenance tasks.
- Establish and communicate the level of quality and safety expected in the performance of maintenance tasks.
- Manage setup and maintenance of new locations.
- Complete requests for certificates of insurance as required by Yorktel personnel.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve concerns and ensure successful coordination of products and services.
- Protect confidential internal and external information using discretion and sound judgment based on company policies and procedures.
