Job Summary
Responsible for the accurate weighing, checking and mixing of specific chemical compounds for product formulations; the calibrating and monitoring of a variety of mixing machinery and the accurate documenting and maintaining of production logbooks and records. They're also required to follow all departmental and company SOP's and maintain accurate and timely record keeping on each formulation batch.

- Starting Pay : $27.97 / hour
- Final pay determination will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills and abilities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for accurate formulation of all production lotsSets-up, load, operate and monitor all mixing machine equipment for product formulationsResponsible to weigh out and mixing exact amounts of chemicals according to specific formulas while monitoring (verifying) product output from mixing equipment operations.Calibrate, operate and monitor all formulation-related equipment (such as scales, meters, etc.).Responsible for the operations necessary to adjust pH of product for in-process testing before releasing to production linesResponsible for the operations necessary to adjust Oxygen levels of Oxygen sensitive product before releasing to productionRequired to understand and support the formulation of batches using both a volumetric and gravimetric processes based on the requirements as specified in the individual batch recordsClean and sanitizes all tanks, equipment and chemical containers used in the product formulation process in accordance with current SOP's and cGMP'sFills out forms for recording production volumes (batches) and complies with all current GDP standardsAssumes other duties and responsibilities, as necessary, within the compounding department, in an effort to provide the required support to ensure adherence to the production scheduleStarting Pay : $27.97 / hourFinal pay determination will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills and abilities.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Have a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education with one year of experience in a relevant work environment; preferably in the pharmaceutical industryAbility to accurately measure chemicalsAble to work 12hr shifts on a 2-2-3 scheduleAble to stand on concrete floors for an extended period of timeAble to lift up to 35 pounds by bending and liftingAble to move heavy equipment and components as neededAble to work with hazardous materials including antineoplastic products and raw materialsAble to wear required personal protective equipment (eye protection, safety shoes, gown, gloves)Must be able to understand and comply with necessary SOPs, SPECs, Job-specific training materials, GMPs, and other manualsAdditional Information
