The Senior Claims Advisor plays a vital leadership role within Vizance, overseeing the claims department and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients, associates, and insurance carrier partners. This individual is central to both the proactive and reactive claims processes and serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert across the organization

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT VIZANCE
- Lead and manage all aspects of the claims function at Vizance
- Supervise and mentor the Claims Technical Advisor, including overseeing training and professional development
- Provide technical claims guidance to support the Sales and Service teams
- Oversee the onboarding of claim services for new clients
- Provide strategic claims consultation and client advocacy through the implementation of Vizance Proactive Claims Services.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client prospecting activities, including client meetings and presentations as needed
- Serve as a resource for escalated claim concerns and ensure resolution
- Coordinate with insurance carrier claims liaisons to support high-quality claim handling and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strategic participation in claim review meetings
- Lead and facilitate claims-related training to support team development and continuous learning
- Generate and analyze Mod Master reports, offering insights and recommendations based on findings
- Ensure claims services meet or exceed client expectations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO VIZANCE
Active Property & Casualty License, or willingness to obtain during onboardingA strong commitment to continued professional development, including pursuing relevant industry designationsAssociate in Claims (AIC) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferredMinimum of 4 years’ experience in claims handling with deep knowledge of commercial lines and all lines of P&C coverageProficiency with MOD Master report creation and analysis
