Manager, Application Support Engineering

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Applications Owner - Financial Systems to serve as the technical owner for our financial technology platforms. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and enhancement of technology platforms supporting our financial functions, working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, coordinate implementation efforts, and ensure systems operate efficiently to meet business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as the primary technical owner for financial applications, ensuring systems are properly maintained, enhanced, and aligned with business requirements.
• Coordinate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Provide application support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for financial technology platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers to implement system enhancements and resolve technical issues.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships for financial applications, including regular communications, issue resolution, and enhancement requests.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration settings, business processes, and technical procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and integration between financial systems and other enterprise applications.
• Support testing of new features and system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide regular reporting on system performance, issues, and enhancement progress to stakeholders.

The ideal background for this role

Salary

The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $185,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The actual offer within this range will depend on the candidate's experience level.

Work Arrangement

All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days in the New York office and one day remote per week.
